Unitholder communications

Principle 6: Respect the rights of shareholders
Companies should respect the rights of shareholders and facilitate the effective exercise of those rights.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Communication policy The Directors of CMIL are committed to open and effective communication, ensuring that unitholders are informed of all significant developments concerning the listed trusts for which CMIL is the Responsible Entity.

CPA produces two sets of financial information each year, the annual report for the year ended 30 June and the half-year report for the six months ended 31 December. Both of these reports are made available to unitholders and other interested parties.

Communication with unitholders is principally conducted through the website, which contains all market announcements, presentations and current financial information material. The Directors of CMIL encourage unitholders to receive electronic communications.

The types of communication available on the website include:

Each six months, to coincide with the release of the annual and half-year financial statements and reports, the Fund holds an analyst briefing. Facilities are available for unitholders to participate in these briefings should they wish to do so through a variety of media, including telephone conference call and webcast.

Additionally, the presentations from these briefings are available on the Fund’s website after confirmation of receipt from the ASX in accordance with the disclosure practices of CMIL noted in Principle 5.

During the year, CMIL also held a unitholder meeting on 31 March 2011 to provide an update on the Fund’s activities and for the purposes of voting on resolutions.

All unitholders have the right to attend the Fund’s annual unitholder meeting, usually held in March or April each year, and are provided with a Notice of Meeting as well as an explanatory memorandum should resolutions be proposed. A copy of the Notice of Meeting is lodged with the ASX and also posted on the Fund’s website.

The Investor Relations section on pages 34 and 35 of the 2011 Annual Report summarises unitholder communications, including contact details.
