Walter Lawrence Cecil Edgell BA(Accounting) Walter is Head of the Business Implementation Group, a wide-ranging role within the Colonial First State Global Asset Management business. Walter is an experienced company director whose current directorships include Colonial First State Property Limited and Colonial First State Property Management Limited in Australia and he is also a director on the boards of fund management and other companies in New Zealand, Luxembourg, Malta, Singapore and China. Walter's major responsibilities involve strategic and business planning implementation and delivery and provision of business infrastructure and services to the property division. Walter has had more than 30 years experience in the financial services and property funds management business arenas. His recent major focus has been leading project teams in providing structuring, implementation and delivery capability to strategic acquisitions and merger opportunities, and in the provision of ongoing corporate services.

Mark Lazberger B. Comm, CFA
Mark is the Chief Executive Officer for Colonial First State Global Asset Management. The business has responsibility for approximately $140 billion in funds and assets under management across equities, fixed interest, cash, property and infrastructure. He oversees the performance and strategic direction of all vehicles managed by the business. Prior to joining Colonial First State Global Asset Management in September 2008 Mark was President, International and Executive Vice President of State Street Global Advisors. Prior to this, he was Head of International Businesses, President and CEO of State Street, Japan and a Principal and Regional Managing Director of SSgA's businesses in Japan and Australia. He joined SSgA in early 1993 after spending two years with State Street Corporation's treasury area.

Brian John McFadyen BA, LLB Brian is head of Wealth Management Legal, which includes Colonial First State Global Asset Management and is responsible for the group's internal legal activities as well as managing external legal relationships. Brian joined Colonial First State Global Asset Management in March 2004. His practice specialty is real estate, including liaising with private, public and government investors and business partners across a spectrum of development, refurbishment, due diligence, purchases, sales and management of real estate assets. He is closely involved in legal, structuring and compliance activities for new and existing funds and products, both domestic and international.

Mark David Steinberg CA Mark is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Colonial First State Global Asset Management. In this role, his key responsibilities include financial reporting, management reporting, tax, treasury, transaction advice and fund accounting. Mark was formerly the CFO of the Macquarie Capital Alliance Group, an ASX listed private equity style investment vehicle. In this role he has held responsibility for the core finance and reporting functions, long with aspects of capital management, investment due diligence, fund budgeting and forecasting and investor relations activities. This is in addition to responsibilities in the wider Macquarie Capital Funds business, including the establishment of new funds and other internal financial reporting functions that operate within the Macquarie Group.

Angus McNaughton B Mgt Studies (honours) Angus McNaughton is the Managing Director of Property for Colonial First State Global Asset Management (‘CFSGAM’). The Property division includes listed property, unlisted property and our asset management and development functions. These businesses have responsibility for approximately AUD$18 billion in funds and assets under management. In his role Angus oversees the performance and strategic direction for all vehicles managed by these businesses and maintains responsibility for driving the long term strategy and performance of the wholesale property business.
Angus has been working with the business for over 17 years, most recently as Head of Wholesale Property Funds, prior to which he worked in Singapore investigating opportunities for the group. Angus was also the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Stock Exchange Top 10 listed Kiwi Income Property Trust (‘KIP’). In 2007, Angus received the Property Institute of New Zealand’s Property Industry Award (sole recipient) and in 2006 he was voted one of the New Zealand Herald’s Top 10 Business Leaders of the Year.
