The Colonial First State Global Asset Management suite of cash funds aims to generate returns1 comparable to the return of the Australian money market by investing in overnight cash deposits, bank bills and floating bank rate, corporate and asset-backed securities where applicable.
In general, the majority of value-added is derived from duration management, with lesser contributions from yield curve positioning, sector allocation, security selection and investment in a diversified list of corporate securities.
Our cash funds aim to provide wholesale investors with a regular income stream from investments in money market securities with a very low risk of capital loss.
