Property and Alternative Investments manages funds across listed and unlisted property, infrastructure and private equity on behalf of retail and wholesale investors, with operations in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
As at 31 December 2007, Property and Alternative Investments had responsibility for more than AUD20 billion in funds under management.
Built on a foundation of skilled and experienced people, innovative products and services and aligned management structures, the division has developed a track record of optimising long-term value for investors and clients.
Funds under management include three publicly listed property trusts and a listed infrastructure fund. The division manages a number of unlisted property, infrastructure and private equity funds as well as direct property investment mandates and property funds.
The Group also benefits from the expertise of Colonial First State Property Management which provides property management, leasing and development management services to the retail property assets within our funds.
Within these specialist asset classes, investors can access investment options across the full risk return spectrum.
